Hi Everyone, This is such a great quick treat to make. They are simple to make and are so yummy!! Only 3 ingredients! Just before dinner i often whip up a batch to have with a cup of green tea after dinner. Give them a try and let us know how you got on!
2 heaped tbsp Peanut butter (good brand, we like kelkin and meridian)
1 cup of Oats
3 tbsp Honey
Place the oats in a large mixing bowl.
Place grease proof paper on a baking tray
Place the honey in a saucepan and simmer for 2 mins.
Then add peanut butter.
When peanut butter has melted pour it into the bowl and mix together quickly.
Then place the mixture onto the the baking tray and spread out evenly.(see pic below)
If you want to eat it more or less straight away place in the freezer for a few minutes or else in the fridge.
simple and easy!!
You could add more ingredients like pecans, dark chocolate, raisins. what ever you fancy! Hope you enjoy
